Entrance Procedures…

In Order to start your registration and admission process in the university, you must follow the following:-

Complete the Online Application Form.
Scan Copy of your secondary school (or bachelor’s degree for Postgraduates) certificate with marks and grades.
Confirm payment of application.
The latest General Medical Certificate (On Arrival).
AIDS-test Certificate (On Arrival).
Birth Certificate (On Arrival).
Insurance Policy acting on the territory of Ukraine (On Arrival).
Back air ticket with the open return date of leaving for one year (On Arrival).
* Documents specified in the points 2, 3 and 4 should be certified and legalized according to the legislation laws of the originating country.
If there are no problems with the documents, you will get an official proposal, and the invoice for study course and other payments.
After that, you must send a letter of confirmation of your coming for enrollment, with a copy of the bank statement, that confirms your Application/Admission payment.

Ukraine Visa

As soon as you get the invitation you must address the Embassy of Ukraine in your country. There you can find out the information about the list of documents needed to get a student visa.

To get through the passport control you must show the passport with your visa, the original of the official invitation and the medical insurance policy.

On reaching the place of study, international students must be registered in the local authorities within three working days. As a rule, we carry out this procedure as a free service to our applicants.

Medical Insurance

The procedure of medical insurance of international students is a usual practice in Ukraine. Medical insurance can be paid together with the tuition payment or at the airport in Ukraine.

There are other ways of payment as well.

You must have the following documents while applying for VISA:-

Your original invitation letters
Original education certificate – legalized by your country Education Ministry
Original birth certificate
Original health certificate – which should be approved by the health ministry of your country and should be issued within a month of your VISA application.
Original HIV-AIDS negative certificate – which also has one-month validity.
Passport sized photos (at least 12)
Bank statement – as proof that you can handle financial costs. You would need to have at least a $3000 bank balance for you to successfully apply for a visa.

Your VISA application takes a minimum of one month to be processed.

Scholarship to Study in Ukraine

“Study in Ukraine” offer students a great deal of scholarships each year. However, these scholarships are reserved for those students who truly need and deserve it. Students who consistently apply themselves and work hard will find that they are eligible for such scholarships.

Types of Scholarships Offered

Merit Based (10 Scholarships): These scholarships are the most common of financial award in that they are given based on the student’s academic, athletic, or artistic performance. Scholarships in this category are also awarded based on the student’s extracurricular activities and involvement in the community. The most common of merit-based scholarships are awarded based on academic achievements and scores on standardized tests.
Athletic (20 Scholarships): This type of scholarship is awarded solely based on students’ achievements in athletics.
Career-Specific (20 Scholarships): These scholarships are awarded based upon the students chosen career path. Scholarships of the highest amount are generally awarded to students who plan to work in high-need areas, such as education and nursing.
College-Specific (80 Scholarships): College-specific scholarships are often regarded as the scholarships that are the most difficult to attain as they are only offered to the most highly qualified of applicants. These scholarships are based on academic and personal achievements, and usually result in either reduced tuition rates, or a “full-ride” to college.

Additional Information

The period of the foreign students’ admission to the degree course, as almost of Europe, starts on September 1st and ends on March 1st (in special cases the time of admission may be prolonged). Nevertheless, we recommend you come to Ukraine for studying in the beginning of September.

Keep in mind: If you miss some of the classes you will have to compensate with extra classes.

The academic year at the university consists of two semesters:

1st semester from September 1st till January 20th
2nd semester from February 5th till July 1st

Required Documents

To arrive in Ukraine and to be registered as students all international applicants must receive Invitation letter from the university where they plan to study.

To receive International student’s invitation letter to study in Ukraine, you will have to provide with the following information and the following personal documents or e-mail this information:-

Name, Surname,
Citizenship,
Date & place of birth,
Sex,
Passport number,
Passport validity (date of issue & expiry),
Permanent address,
Phone number, e-mail address,
A copy of the passport (pages with the photograph, date of birth and passport validity (date of issue & expiry),
Certificate of Completed School Education.

Invitation applications are accepted around the year. It takes from 2 to 4 days to process the documents with the Ministry of Higher Education and Science of Ukraine.

To enter the territory of Ukraine and to be admitted into the University, a student should have the following documents:-

Passport (validity -not less than 2 years), entry visa
Migration card (must be filled in by you in the airport upon arrival to Ukraine).

Upon receiving the invitation letter, the student must contact the Embassy of Ukraine in his / her country to apply for the student’s visa. The following documents must be provided:-

Application form
3 photographs (3x4cm)
Original invitation letter sent to you by express post
Medical health certificate
HIV/AIDS test
Certificate of Completed Higher Secondary Education
Official bank documents confirming full payment of tuition fees (for students coming to Ukraine for the first time).

Additional documents for students obtaining admission to the master’s degree, Postgraduate course, or Ph.D.:-

Diploma/Degree Certificate, 2 notarized copies of the Diploma/Degree Certificate, 2 translated copies of the Diploma/Degree Certificate in Russian/Ukrainian language and certified by a notary from the Ukrainian Embassy in your country to carry out the equivalence procedure
Mark sheets of all academic years (including studied subjects, marks & hours for each subject), 2 notarized copies of the Mark sheets, 2 translated copies of the Mark sheets in Russian/Ukrainian language and certified by a notary from the Ukrainian in your country to carry out the equivalence procedure.
